Thank you, goodbye, I love you (Merci, au revoir, je t’aime)

There is a place where people, mostly women, have made it their professional mission to accompany those at the end of their lives and help them cross over in peace. They are doctors, nurses, care workers, social workers, and they have chosen to work in palliative care because they believe they are making a difference in the lives of their patients. They are driven by admirable human values: compassion, respect, selflessness. And since they are around death every day, they’ve developed a unique perspective on life.
