Chloé (Constance Munger) heads to Ontario to prove herself at Camp Hope while her friends prepare for a summer away from the arena. This intermission will make them realize they’re much more than just a hockey team. Adapted from the novel series by Nadia Lakhdari and produced by Avanti-Toast, the third season of First Line (Premier trio) includes 26 21-minute episodes. The first 13 will be available online starting Thursday, May 8th on ICI TOU.TV EXTRA, with the next 13 coming on Thursday, June 12th.

The hockey season is over and school is out. But for Chloé (Constance Munger) and her friends, summer doesn’t necessarily mean vacation.

While Émile (Mathieu Drouin) must go to the countryside to stay with his grandfather as he recovers from a complicated surgery, Xavier (Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie), Raph (Justin Paquette), and Emy (Dounia Ouirzane) start working at the Domaine des bois. The Domaine is an idyllic park where one can hike and mountain bike, or attend presentations at the historic kiosk. Between games of deck hockey, pranks among employees, and ice cream specially prepared by Max (Iani Bédard), the gang is heading for a dream summer… if only it weren’t for their supervisor, Antoine (Alfred Poirier), who is particularly gifted at making their lives difficult.

At the Domaine, Emy (Dounia Ouirzane) must also team up with Camille (Jasmine Lemée), a somewhat spiritual girl with whom she has nothing in common. A perilous situation will bring them closer, however, while another disruptive event will threaten Emy’s (Dounia Ouirzane) budding relationship with her boyfriend.

Away from her support system, at least for the first part of the summer, Chloé (Constance Munger) discovers that long-distance relationships come with their share of difficulties. In Ontario, her integration into the girls’ team turns out to be more chaotic than expected and she quickly realizes she could use some reassurance. While the Lynx player gains in confidence and almost manages to find her place within the group, she is involved in an incident that could have major repercussions on her hockey career. There is also a turn of events for Xavier (Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie), who will be forced to rethink his future on the ice.

Between first experiences, new friendships, rivalries, forced separations, budding romances, and break-ups, our protagonists will experience quite the summer – one that will test them and from which they will come back closer than ever.

The third season of First Line (Premier trio) also stars Philippe Scrive, Louka Amadeo Bélanger-Leos, Catherine Proulx-Lemay, Patrick Drolet, Christina Johnson, Isabella Saavedra, Elliot Miville-Deschênes, Robert Lalonde, Frédérick De Grandpré, Aladeen Tawfeek, Hynda Benabdallah, Alphé Gagné, Justine Robidoux, Zacary St-Pierre, and many others.

This production is made possible thanks to the support of Radio-Canada, the Canada Media Fund, the SODEC, as well as provincial and federal tax credits for audiovisual and film production.
