The television adaptation of First Line (Premier Trio), based on the series of novels by author Nadia Lakhdari published by Éditions Les Malins, revolves around Chloé Béliveau, a gifted hockey player who is invited to the selection camp of a bantam AAA team… for men. Chloé’s sole goal is to earn her place among these elite players, and viewers of ICI TOU.TV EXTRA will be able to follow her quest over 26 30-minute episodes. The first 13 episodes will be available online starting Thursday, June 1st, with the remaining 13 episodes arriving on Thursday, July 6th.

Produced by Avanti-Toast, First Line stars Constance Munger as Chloé Béliveau, alongside Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Catherine Proulx-Lemay, Patrick Drolet, Mathieu Drouin, Iani Bédard, Dounia Ouirzane, Louka Amadeo Bélanger-Leos, Justin Paquette, Justin Morissette, Jessica Rousseau, Rosalie Loiselle, Philippe Scrive, Brendon Tremblay, Reda Guerinik, Justine Robidoux, Martin Tremblay, Alphé Gagné, Rose-Maïté Erkoreka, Derrick Frenette, Moïse Desjardins, and Eloïsa Cervantes.

Not all of the Lynx are ready to welcome Chloé amongst their team and her arrival quickly shakes up the established order. Some players, like Max (Iani Bédard) and Xavier (Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie), see her as an asset to the team, but others, like William (Louka Amadeo Bélanger-Leos), are hoping she will quit if they make things difficult for her.

Budding romances, complicated friendships, and painful betrayals unfold in and outside of the arena. The team’s unity will be severely tested, and Chloé will be put under pressure. If she wants to establish herself within the Lynx, she’ll have to learn to make difficult choices and assert herself, both on and off the ice.
