Fans of courtroom shows will be served this fall with Everyday Justice (Les Justiciers), a brand-new original reality TV series to air on Noovo! Everyday Justice will offer privileged access to the Quebec justice system as three lawyers with strong and unique personalities resolve disputes that fall under the jurisdiction of small claims court. Each episode, our three jurists will debate the various cases presented to them before agreeing on a verdict. Having exhausted their options, citizens of all ages seek justice rendered quickly, definitively… and for free! Who will win the case? How much will be paid in compensations? These three lawyers decide… and the production team pays the damages!
In addition to hearing incredible cases, Everyday Justice will immerse us in the proceedings and grounds that lead to a verdict by presenting both sides of the coin. Because when it comes to justice, nothing is ever black or white.
A man is claiming moral damages from his ex-wife for the stress he experienced after learning he wasn’t the father of their child; a 19-year-old woman is suing her ex-best friend for damaging her reputation on Facebook; a man is suing a coworker for reimbursement for a vacation trip she canceled at the last minute; a woman is claiming veterinary fees from her neighbour for injuries her poodle sustained after an attack by their pit bull… This foray into the Quebec justice system will unfold through a variety of disputes.
