Chloé Béliveau (Constance Munger) is still determined to make her mark with the Lynx, a AAA men’s team. Between budding love affairs, friendships and betrayals, she aspires to find her place, on the ice and in life. We’ll follow her evolution, and that of those around her, throughout the 26 episodes of season 2 of FIRST LINE (PREMIER TRIO). The first 13 episodes go online on ICI TOU.TV EXTRA on Thursday, June 6, with the remaining 13 episodes added on Tuesday, July 2. Season 2 will then air on ICI TÉLÉ during the 2024-2025 season. Filming for Season 3 will begin in June.
A TV adaptation of the novels of the same title by author Nadia Lakhdari, First Line (Premier Trio) is directed by Charles Grenier and Philippe Grenier, and produced by Avanti-Toast. We meet the Lynx as they return from the tournament and aim to win the playoffs. The arrival of Noah (Philippe Scrive), a new player on the team, makes waves. Xavier (Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie) sees him as a rival. Chloé (Constance Munger), on the other hand, is determined to make her mark with the boys. She can’t let herself be distracted by romance…
Season 2 of First Line (Premier Trio) introduces us to new characters: Caroline (Gabrielle Côté), the Lynx’s new coach and her niece Yasmine (Isabella Villalba); Marjolaine (Marie-Hélène Thibault), drama teacher and Raphaël’s mother; and Daniel Vollant (Charles Buckell-Robertson), First Nations intervener. Nadia Lakhdari also makes a cameo as a recruiter.
