Crave has revealed the cast of Jumpscare (L’usine de peurs), a new game show that turns classic horror tropes into entertainment that is as terrifying for the contestants as it is hilarious for the platform’s subscribers. Popular content creator Cocottee puts the courage of eight influencers to the test: Farley, Flamby, Gab Gagnon, Lewis le fou, Maude Therrien, Claudie Mercier, Willos, and Zac Bulle.
Gathered in a mysterious abandoned factory, they must face a series of challenges inspired by horror classics, set in various rooms featuring atmospheres that are as unsettling as they are unpredictable. Amidst jump scares, screams, panic, and disgust, they all aim to stay in the game until the very end to win the $20,000 grand prize.
Jumpscare (L’usine de peurs) is produced by Avanti-Toast in collaboration with Bell Media. The series was created by Avanti-Toast and Simon Sachel—who also serves as director—with art direction provided by the creative team at Malefycia. Comprising twelve 30-minute episodes, the first six will be available on Crave starting September 30, followed by the final six on October 14.
