Breathe In Breathe Out (Inspirez expirez) and Discreet (Discrètes), two productions from Avanti-Toast, have garnered an impressive total of eleven nominations for the NYC Web Fest. Both original series are also part of the official selection for the festival, which will take place in New York from November 15 to 17.

Breathe In Breathe Out has been nominated in three categories, including Best Sci-Fi/Thriller. Its cast also received two nominations: Dynamic Duo (Sonia Cordeau and Virginie Fortin) and Best Supporting Actress (Édith Cochrane). Discreet, nominated in eight categories, is one of the two series with the most nominations at this year’s NYC Web Fest. It stands out in categories such as Best Web Series, Best Foreign Language, Dynamic Duo (Juliette Gosselin and Aurélia Arandi-Longpré), and Best Actor (Olivier Gervais-Courchesne), as well as in several categories recognizing the work of the crew. These nominations add to the eighteen received by the series in four other international festivals this fall.

About Breathe In Breathe Out

Written by Sonia Cordeau and directed by Jean-François Chagnon, Breathe In Breathe Out mixes comedy and thriller. The series follows Sophie (Sonia Cordeau) and Vicky (Virginie Fortin), two frenemies stuck together in a yoga retreat when mysterious murders start to happen. The series airs Mondays at 8:30 PM on Noovo and is available on Crave. The second season, currently in production, will be released on Crave in 2025.

Macha (Juliette Gosselin) and Gaby (Aurélia Arandi-Longpré) are housekeepers in an office tower. The night Macha saves Gaby from her attacker, the girls embark on a quest for their own justice. The series, written and directed by Sophia Belahmer and Juliette Gosselin, is produced by Avanti-Toast in collaboration with Amalga.
