The Avanti-Toast team is delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Allard as Director of Fiction Development. An esteemed writer and script editor, she will oversee the development of adult and children’s fiction for television and digital media.
Caroline Allard first became known as an author with the publication of the collection Les chroniques d’une mère indigne. She has spent the last few years writing scripts for shows such as L’œil du cyclone, Entre deux draps, Discussions avec mes parents, and Le Pacte. She has also served as a script editor, notably for Conseils de famille and the Bye Bye 2020. In her role since September 1, she now brings this extensive expertise to the table as head of Avanti-Toast’s fiction division.
“Caroline joining our team is extremely exciting,” says Raphaël Martin, Senior Director, Development. “She’s a brilliant content director, a true leader who will consolidate our achievements in the development and production of original fiction. Her arrival is excellent news, both for us and for our broadcast partners.”
“There’s something thrilling happening at our company right now, both in fiction and non-fiction. Caroline Allard joins a creative team that already has many great productions underway and extremely promising projects in development,” enthuses Ian Quenneville, Producer and Co-President.
David Bourgeois, Zachary Gosselin-Maillé, Emmanuelle Plante, Nadia Ruel, and Émilie Sarrazin-Héroux complete the development team led by Raphaël Martin. This fall alone, approximately ten series and shows produced by Avanti-Toast are airing on television and digital platforms.
