Quebec’s master of horror, Patrick Senécal, unveils a brand-new project that will allow his fans to discover another facet of his universe. Every week, he invites horror enthusiasts (and even the more fearful) to join him on the podcast “Plus de peur que de mal” (more fear than harm). The first episodes will be available tonight on Patreon.

Each month, the podcast offers four hour-long episodes exclusively for subscribers. Every other week, Patrick Senécal hosts guests for candid discussions about their fears: confessions and previously untold stories are a guarantee. The alternative weeks are dedicated to themed roundtables on iconic horror films and pieces of literature, as well as recurring themes within the genre. Each episode offers a unique perspective on fear… always delivered with a relaxed tone.

“What fascinated me most throughout the meetings was how fear is a feeling experienced by everyone, but in such different ways. And some personalities revealed really amazing and unexpected things about themselves, probably thanks to the friendly and convivial atmosphere of the podcast,” explains Patrick Senécal.

Subscribers to “Plus de peur que de mal” on Patreon will receive these four exclusive episodes each month, as well as occasional bonus content, special access to events, and giveaways. It’s the ultimate fan club for everything related to the world of Patrick Senécal.

Launch Event

Tonight, a live recording will take place to celebrate the podcast launch. Patrick Senécal will welcome Sébastien Diaz in what promises to be a particularly festive atmosphere, surrounded by friends and fans of the author’s work. The free tickets for the event sold out in less than an hour, giving those lucky enough to snag one the chance to discover the podcast before its official release. The episode will be available tomorrow on Patreon.

To allow the public to discover the podcast, the first three episodes are offered for free.
