The Avanti-Toast team is expanding with the addition of Marie-Anne Grenon as Producer, Content and Development Producer, and Fannie Gebrayel as Communications and Social Media Specialist. Having both started a few weeks ago, they will put each of their expertise to work with the development team and the communications and marketing team respectively.
Marie-Anne Grenon
Since the beginning of her career, Marie-Anne Grenon has worked on around sixty audiovisual productions, totaling nearly 850 hours of content for Télé-Québec, Radio-Canada, ARTE, and TV5, amongst others. She excels in the ideation and implementation of creative and narrative strategies, particularly in non-fiction formats (documentary, magazine, public affairs, podcast, quiz, reality TV, variety, etc.).
“The arrival of Marie-Anne in the Avanti-Toast family enriches our expertise in development and production. Her creativity, as well as her deep understanding of social and human issues, strengthens the know-how of our team,” says Nadia Ruel, Director of Non-fiction Development. Within the Avanti-Toast development team, led by Raphaël Martin, Marie-Anne reports directly to Nadia Ruel and works in collaboration with Emmanuelle Plante, Content and Development Producer. Caroline Allard, Director of Fiction Development, and Amélie Blais, Content Producer, complete the permanent team, alongside freelance designers and writers.
Fannie Gebrayel
Fannie Gebrayel started her career in a public relations agency, where she worked for nearly three years. She then broadened her experience by working closely with a content creator as their agent and publicist. Her initiatives in media relations, influencer marketing, and event planning have helped raise the profile of prominent personalities and companies across Canada and the United States.
Fannie joins the Communications and Commercialization team, which includes Guylaine Boisjoli, Director, and Mariane Leblanc, Project Manager. “Beyond her highly diverse professional skills, Fannie’s passion and genuine interest in the cultural sector won us over. Her versatility and writing abilities will contribute to the visibility and reach of our productions,” explains Mariane Leblanc.
The year 2024 has been a rewarding one for Avanti-Toast, which saw several of its productions win awards both in Quebec and internationally. “We are extremely proud of all our teams, whose talent and dedication have made it possible for Avanti-Toast to have such a successful year. These distinctions are the result of remarkable collective work,” says Ian Quenneville, co-president. New and promising projects are in the works and will be launched in the coming months.
