Julien Corriveau, member of the comedy group Les Appendices and self-taught comedian, embarks on a quest to find “the essence of funny”. Along with his accomplices, he questions, analyzes and tries to figure out what makes people laugh by exploring a different type of humour in each show. Julien meets with comedians and experts in the field to discuss them… and make people laugh!
