First Line <\/strong><\/a>(Premier trio)<\/em>, Wild Cooks <\/strong><\/a>(<\/em>Chefs de bois)<\/em>, and Discreet <\/strong><\/a>(<\/em>Discr\u00e8tes) <\/em>won the G\u00e9meaux Award<\/a> for Best Show in their respective categories last Sunday. Avanti-Toast is proud to offer quality programming, demonstrate boldness, support its artists and craftsmen in the production of inclusive and diverse shows, and position itself as one of the key players in our industry.<\/p>\n

Teen show First Line<\/strong><\/em> won the G\u00e9meaux Award for Best Children’s Fiction Series (12 and under). Charles Grenier<\/a> and Philippe Grenier<\/a> were recognized for their direction, and Mathieu Drouin<\/a> caught the Academy\u2019s attention by winning his first Gemini Award in the category of Best Supporting Role: Children\u2019s Programming. The character he portrays, \u00c9mile, particularly resonates with young audiences and their concerns.<\/p>\n

Wild Cooks<\/strong><\/em>, Quebec\u2019s wildest cooking competition, was named Best Reality Show. For the third consecutive year, Brian Desgagn\u00e9<\/a> won the G\u00e9meaux Award for Best Direction: Game or Reality Show.<\/p>\n

Tackling a very topical subject, the series Discreet<\/strong><\/em>, produced in collaboration with Amalga<\/a>, won the G\u00e9meaux Award for Best Original Production for Digital Media: Drama. Olivier Gervais-Courchesne<\/a> stood out, winning the award for Best Lead Role in a Production for Digital Media.<\/p>\n

Sonia Cordeau<\/a>\u2019s talent and creativity earned her the G\u00e9meaux Award for Best Comedy Writing for the series Breathe In Breathe Out<\/strong><\/a> (Inspirez expirez)<\/em>. Steve Laplante<\/a> was recognized for his performance, winning the Gemini Award for Best Supporting Role in a Comedy.<\/p>\n
