Faithful to the team that created the original series, author <strong>Claude Meunier<\/strong> is once again joined by <strong>Jos\u00e9e Fortier<\/strong> as script consultant and director, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reals.quebec\/pierreseguin\"><strong>Pierre S\u00e9guin<\/strong><\/a> as director. Don&#8217;t miss the reunion of the famous Par\u00e9 clan, as new episodes of <em>The Quirky Family<\/em> go online tomorrow on <a href=\"https:\/\/ici.tou.tv\/la-petite-vie\"><strong>ICI TOU.TV EXTRA<\/strong><\/a>! Produced by <strong>Avanti-Toast<\/strong>, <em>The Quirky Family<\/em> will also air on <a href=\"https:\/\/ici.radio-canada.ca\/tele\"><strong>ICI T\u00c9L\u00c9<\/strong><\/a> starting in <strong>February 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Quebec&#8217;s most absurd and dysfunctional family navigates the troubled waters of modernity, adapting (sometimes with difficulty) to new technologies and often destabilizing social currents. The Par\u00e9s also have to deal with a major disruptive element that upsets them all: Moman&#8217;s departure. Ti-M\u00e9 (<strong>Claude Meunier<\/strong>) is extremely bored and trying to cope with his grief. And even though they&#8217;re all trying to be there for him, those closest to him have to admit that they&#8217;ve already got their own worries.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9nald (<strong>Marc Labr\u00e8che<\/strong>) lives an anxious retirement, convinced that he will eventually run out of money. Lison (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agencegoodwin.com\/artistes\/josee-deschenes\"><strong>Jos\u00e9e Desch\u00eanes<\/strong><\/a>), for her part, is embarking on a small advertising career, where she&#8217;s proving to be more of an influencer than an influencer. While Caro (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.guylainetremblay.ca\/\"><strong>Guylaine Tremblay<\/strong><\/a>) returns from exile in a faraway land where she can finally be herself, Th\u00e9r\u00e8se (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agencegoodwin.com\/artistes\/diane-lavallee\"><strong>Diane Lavall\u00e9e<\/strong><\/a>) is more into astral projection. R\u00e9jean (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agencegoodwin.com\/artistes\/marc-messier\"><strong>Marc Messier<\/strong><\/a>) worries about her absences, although he himself regularly disappears to work in strange places&#8230; Rod (<strong>Bernard Fortin<\/strong>) is always on the lookout for someone to do his washing, especially now that Moman is gone. As for Pogo (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agencegoodwin.com\/artistes\/remy-girard\"><strong>R\u00e9my Girard<\/strong><\/a>), he hasn&#8217;t forgotten his old friend, but it&#8217;s clear that he&#8217;s losing bits and pieces&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Even today, the Par\u00e9s still live in their parallel world, but they&#8217;re very much of our time. The characters may have aged, and the issues that preoccupy them have changed, but to our delight, their personalities have remained the same. The Par\u00e9 family remains united by love&#8230; and by a good dose of humor!<\/p>\n<p>The Par\u00e9 family has been delighting Quebec audiences ever since they first appeared on the small screen in 1993. <strong><em>The Quirky Family<\/em><\/strong> shattered audience records and swept all the honors when it first aired for 59 episodes, and has continued to seduce all generations in reruns for the past 30 years.
